Salma has several years of experience working within NHS and community mental health services, supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. She has delivered structured, evidence-based interventions for anxiety and depression and has supported people navigating complex life circumstances.
Alongside her NHS work, Salma has experience delivering wellbeing support in multidisciplinary settings and working with diverse communities, with a particular interest in improving access to mental health support for ethnic minority communities.
